How to measure

The two waist rows are the same elastic waistband at its two ends - what it measures lying still, and what it opens to. Both are the full way round, so there is nothing to double.

Pick off 'Fits body waist': run a tape around your waist where the shorts will sit, resting rather than pulled tight, and take the size whose range it falls in. On the line between two, the waistband stretches - take the smaller.
